Real Madrid outcast on the brink of loan move to Bundesliga
According to Spanish outlet AS, Real Madrid star Alvaro Odriozola is on the brink of joining Bayern Munich on a loan deal.
The ex-Real Sociedad man had hardly featured for the Los Blancos this season, making only four appearances in La Liga.
Zinedine Zidane, who has a great preference for Dani Carvajal in the right-back position, talked about Ordiozola's exit links, stating that he could leave in this transfer window. The 24-year-old is also wanted by La Liga side Athletic Club.
Odriozola made his switch to Bernabeu last season and was impressive throughout the campaign. But he has largely failed to replicate his form this term. He has earned 4 senior caps with the Spanish national team.
Meanwhile, Bayern are looking to strengthen their defence with the addition of the Spaniard. This would mark their second raid on Madrid since James Rodriguez's loan move in 2017.
Los Blancos produced an emphatic win against Sevilla on Saturday, and are currently trailing Barcelona in the league table.
